Cybersecurity with a Human Face ?

The pandemic has exacerbated many business concerns, including cybersecurity. Working remotely makes it harder for companies to protect their data from cyber threats. But what if the instructions are tailored to the personal characteristics of employees?

The Computer Network Support Specialists are the trained experts and are extremely helpful in the computer networking of an organization.

About research

At the Open Innovation online forum, John Haxton, head of thought leadership at The Myers-Briggs Company , presented research on cybersecurity.

Haxton's colleagues interviewed more than 500 respondents directly, as well as through LinkedIn, Facebook and online forums. They asked them questions about cybersecurity and hacker attacks, and then matched the data with gender, age, occupation and personality traits.

After analyzing the relationship, the authors of the study deduced certain patterns. Based on them, they developed individual cybersecurity guidelines, which, they say, work more efficiently than the standard ones.

Cyber threats come to the fore

According to the Cyberedge Group, 78% of IT professionals reported cyberattacks in 2019 . A poll by The Myers-Briggs Company gives a figure of 64%.

During the pandemic, the situation worsened: while working from home, employees do not follow basic data protection measures, and fraudsters are actively using new schemes. At the same time, the load on IT support has increased, and access to it has become noticeably more complicated.
